Measure In Love

This is a tribute to Seasons of Love...

Twenty-six leaf-crunching, vest-wearing, chai latte-drinking Autumns.

Twenty-six holly, jolly Christmases.

Twenty-six hope-filled, flowers-blooming, wear-your-windbreaker Springs.

Twenty-six smokin' hot, beautiful, carefree Summers.

Nine thousand, four-hundred and ninety days of love, love, love.

Countless tears.

Bottomless laughter.

Infinite memories.

Gazillions of smiles.

Thousands of firsts.

Hundreds of lasts.

Never-ending hugs.

Ever-present love.

Two hundred and twenty-seven thousand, seven hundred and sixty hours of living.

Breathing.

Seeing.

Hearing.

Feeling.

Loving.

Being.

I’m choosing to measure in love. Not in years, not in wrinkles (except the smiley ones), not in aches...nothing but love.

I’m twenty-six years old today and I’m gonna celebrate.
